To those of you that don’t know, Wednesday is the day that comics are released at retailers across the country. This Wednesday is particularly interesting for comics readers who like DC Comics as they are re-booting their entire universe (starting over at number 1) and trimming it down to only 52 titles. They are adding interesting characters to boring teams and bringing in events and activities that have only existed on the periphery of their universe. Wildstorm characters (hard-edged characters from a sub-publishing company) are re-integrating into the DC universe and mixing it up to highly anticipated results. The first title of the “New 52″ is Justice League Of America and it’s available TODAY. You can walk into comic stores across the country and know exactly what is going on in the new DC Universe by spending $2.99 and reading the one and only title that they are letting out yet. Again, everything else is cancelled, so this is as good of a jumping on point as you will get.
