What Comics To Watch For On Wednesday, 01/29

Hi, welcome to our weekly post where we tell you “What Comics to Watch For On Wednesday.”  We are doing our best to recommend a few titles worth your time this week.  It is good to note that we rarely suggest mid-run titles, because we try to provide good jumping on points or oddities that must be seen to believe.  This week has only a small showing of titles that I am excited about, but still has a little something from multiple publishers.

This week’s offerings:

Earth 2 Annual #2

This is Hal’s favorite title and since Annual #2 seeks to answer one of his greatest questions in comics today!  Who is Earth 2 Batman?!  We shall see…

I Am Amelia Earhart

Chris Eliopoulos is a cool guy.  So cool, in fact, that he took time out to do an Interviews With The Industry for us in the wake of Hurricane Sandy.  Anyways, he and Brad Meltzer (Identity Crisis) are putting out educational kids comics about famous people.  I know nothing about Amelia Earhart, so this makes today’s list!

Saga #18

Lying Cat with a bloody mouth on the cover with the promise of a conclusion to a part of the story.  Sounds like somebody is looking forward to this comic book.

Thor: God Of Thunder #18

Young Thor fighting dragons for the win!
