Hi, welcome to our weekly post where we tell you “What Comics to Watch For On Wednesday.” We are doing our best to recommend a few titles worth your time this week. It is good to note that we rarely suggest mid-run titles, because we try to provide good jumping on points or oddities that must be seen to believe.
This week’s offerings:
Sixth Gun #43
Things are coming to a head in this series that has been epic from it’s beginning. Crazy, magic stuff is going down.
Evil Empire #5
The solicitation for this issue sells it:
How does someone truly evil cope with the prevalence of evil in society? A serial killer finds himself losing the impetus to kill now that it’s no longer dangerous or taboo.
Artist Joe Eisma (MORNING GLORIES) teams up with Max Bemis to explore this chilling tale for a special one-shot issue of EVIL EMPIRE.
Harley Quinn Future’s End #1
The 3-d covers that DC puts out are REALLY COOL. This one looks to be the cream of the crop. With Joker and Harley in marital embrace and then when you turn the issue, at each other’s throats Amanda Conner turns in a nice cover to what promises to be a fun issue.
Chew #43
Chew is another one of those books that I have been really invested in that is coming to a head. If you read comics in issues, this one should be memorable!
Bobs Burgers #2
Dynamite’s break out hit is thrilling fans of the comics and fans of the show alike. Issue #2 aims to roll forward with it’s success.
