What Comics To Watch For On Wednesday, 10/16

Hi, welcome to our weekly post where we tell you “What Comics to Watch For On Wednesday.”  We are doing our best to recommend a few titles worth your time this week.  It is good to note that we rarely suggest mid-run titles, because we try to provide good jumping on points or oddities that must be seen to believe.

This week’s offerings:

Imagine Agents #1

Solicited as “Men In Black with imaginary friends,” BOOM! Studios has me excited with this one.  Foster’s Home For Imaginary friends as cops is a great idea.  We will see how it plays out.

Uncanny X-Men #13

Battle Of The Atom rolls on and we get our next installment.  Things BLEW UP last issue and I was left wanting more.  This is the next step in the story and I am still thoroughly on board!

Uncanny 13

Wonder Woman #24

Scroll for spoiler: Wonder Woman is the freaking God Of War!!!

Things are getting even crazier in this title.  Characters are transitioning and evolving into new places all of the time in this title, but the creative team stays strong!  The new story arc starts HERE!

WW 24

Nowhere Men #6

In the first issue since May, we get back to this wonderfully rich series.  The 1st trade comes out in November and at only $10, $8 at TFAW there has never been a better time to jump on board.

Nowhere 6

Hawkeye #13

Say what you want about Hawkeye issue #12, but I like Barney Barton coming around and re-emerging as a character.  “Hawkguy,” Clint Barton is the everyman superhero and it would make perfect sense that his douche bag brother would be crashing on his couch.  On top of all of that the fact that this is a two-parter with Aja should make it enjoyable.

Forever Evil: Rogue’s Rebellion #1

I called it previously that the Flash Rogues would not follow along with the CSA’s plans.  What happens when rogues rebel?
