Hi, welcome to our weekly post where we tell you “What Comics to Watch For On Wednesday.” We are doing our best to recommend a few titles worth your time this week. It is good to note that we rarely suggest mid-run titles, because we try to provide good jumping on points or oddities that must be seen to believe.
This week’s offerings:
Uncanny X-Men #12
Part 4 of Battle Of The Atom seems like it will be an important chapter of what is being critically acclaimed as an excellent crossover event. Jean and Cyclops have willingly mutinied to Utopia. What happens next?!
Flash #23.3
The most beloved/human enemies in DC Comics are wrapped up in Forever Evil. When given the ability to run rampant in their villainy, what will The Rogues do?
Zero #1
This series is being touted as a high profile release from Image. Shea caught up with the creator on his other blog and interviewed him about it. Looks crazy to me. Spies and secret action with guns and espionage.
Justice League #23.3
Hal has been so sad that Dial H got cancelled, so this title is a great way to connect with characters we know and love. Dial E (For Evil, presumably) is the crossover that nobody cared about, but we are EXCITED FOR.
Tommy Taylor & The Ship That Sank Twice
To be fair, this is a hardcover and costs considerably more than $3.99. It’s also probably going to be great and add to the already rich mythos of Tommy Taylor. I’m expecting good things.
