What Comics To Watch For On Wednesday, 9/25

Hi, welcome to our weekly post where we tell you “What Comics to Watch For On Wednesday.”  We are doing our best to recommend a few titles worth your time this week.  It is good to note that we rarely suggest mid-run titles, because we try to provide good jumping on points or oddities that must be seen to believe.

This week’s offerings:

Saga #14

The perennial favorite and multi-award winning powerhouse comes out this week.  Can’t hate a book that brings people to comics.

Saga 14

Punisher: Trial of The Punisher #1

Punisher miniseries have been good, as of late.  This one promises Frank Castle going to trial for his crimes.  If it is done well, it could be captivating.

Punisher 1

Uncanny Avengers #12

Rick Remender’s Uncanny Avengers is crazy, but in a glorious way.  I used to be down on Kang the Conqueror, but Josh Flanagan redirected me and boy am I glad that he did.  Look at this cover and how similar it is to old school Kang, featured here in a previous blog post!

UAvengers 12'

Planet of The Apes Giant #1

Licensed comics aren’t typically good.  These are.  Also, it’s giant.

Justice League #23.4

One of these has to be good eventually.  Right?  If that really is The Outsider from Flashpoint, come on with it.
